I was brought up on Beech Road in Branston where I lived until I married. I now live at Potterhanworth with my wife Michelle and my two sons Andrew and Stephen who both attend the Branston Academy.
I have lived at Potterhanworth for some twenty years now and have been active on the Parish Council for the past four years and will stand again in the forthcoming Parish Council elections in this contested seat. For the past 25 years I have worked for Lincolnshire Police in the field of Collision Investigation and Road Safety and I remain passionate about issues relating to these subjects and bring knowledge and expertise to my role as Parish and District Councillor and have supported local road safety initiatives within the Parish.
I am committed to enhancing the great facility we have in our Pavilion, play park and playing eld at Potterhanworth and commit to support, retain and develop this wonderful local amenity and would dearly love to see the establishment of a village shop and other facilities therein. I am concerned about what I see as potential over development which is happening in Branston village without the provision of suitable infrastructure and about the proposed Wind Farm on Nocton Fen, an issue which will affect both our parishes as well as having repercussions much further a field.
