I am standing as a Lincolnshire Independent for the Bassingham and Brant Broughton Ward in the local elections on the 2nd of May. Postal votes are out from April 12th.
You have TWO votes.
Please support Mary Green from Bassingham and me as your two Independent Councillors.
I am disappointed that the present elected District Council is not representing the views of the people it serves. The present District councillors have become detached from what they were elected to do which was to be a bridge between people and local decisions.
My family has been farming locally for five generations through both good and bad times for the country and our community. I am not put off by complex challenges. As a farmer I have many skills which would be of major benefit as a District Councillor.
“I believe passionately in sustainability and strive to look at the whole picture in everything I do – to leave things in better shape for the next generation.”
I am supported by the Lincolnshire Independents. We are a group of like-minded, hardworking and very determined supporters of our local communities. Lincolnshire Independents have been pressing for a concerted non-party political campaign for change. We focus on maintaining our roads properly, dealing with transport issues, helping local businesses grow, and getting the health and adult care services we so desperately need.
Please help me to make a difference, and my promise to you is that I will always represent your views.
The election on May 2nd is your chance to change things. We can start to fix these problems and create a better future that everyone in our area can be proud of! Please vote for me.
Let’s make your District Council work for us instead of Westminster!
