The battle to prevent the Chicken Farm and Anaerobic Digester at Holdingham goes on. The Anaerobic digester was granted planning permission on 4th November despite huge local objections. The scheme was approved by the casting vote of the Conservative Chairman Pat Woodman. The local Conservative ward member Geoff Hazelwood voted for the digester despite having a number of objectors based in his ward. The Ward Councillor, Grenville Jackson, has written to the Secretary of State asking for the decision to be reviewed and is still awaiting a response.
