I am a passionate woman who believes that the individual is responsible and accountable in every walk of life. I stand for the principles of freedom, liberty, service, accountability, responsibility and personal choice.
My professional career as a specialist teacher and roles as a family woman, wife and mother have blended to enable me to work alongside families, young people and educators in local communities to empower and enable them to make positive choices.
I care about the mental health, welfare, housing, education and relationships of our young people and their families and serve them through positive engagement and creative outlets. I love living in our rural environment and enjoy walking in the woods and taking photographs along the way.
Citizens and families know what they are good at and know how to help their own families best. There are times when they need the additional assistance provided by local services that enable them to function well. It is at times like these that they may ask for support to move forward. All support must be asked for and provided with full accountability and consensual respectful involvement. This gives citizens the confidence to act in their best family interests and live as independently as possible.
My willingness to listen, engage, be involved with and serve those who need support is unreserved.
