Thank you, Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2020!

It was the first time we have had a Christmas vote since 1923, but despite the short days and rain, our residents queued in droves for the chance to make their mark, with a turnout of over 70pc. A huge thank you for your support.

We had teriffic support for the local elections in May, and on the doorsteps this time, where strong, local support is much appreciated. However, in the final days, it seems we were overwhelmed by a drive to “settle Brexit”, at least for now.

Throughout the Country, 1,200 Independent group members won respect and recognition for sound common sense and commitment to our communities, laying the ground for ever more effective work and for future elections, offering no empty promises, just solid local support. As Lincolnshire Independents, we stay Independent, but not isolated, with a network of support to do the best job possible for our communities.
