Tom Head
My background is in engineering and I am a welder making stainless steel catering equipment. My interests include classic cars, cycling, nature, wildlife and photography. I feel that the current political uncertainty and cuts to services is letting local communities down. We deserve much better. I can’t promise to fix these issues, but with your vote, I am determined to work as hard as possible at a local level to support all residents.
A FRESH APPROACH!
Who will it be that stands up for you after May 2nd
Do you want a say in that?
Please vote for me to be your councillor because I am someone who wants to make
a difference and put our local communities before party politics. I will work for local
people of all ages and backgrounds to improve our area for the better.
National party politics has made a mess and locally, we deserve much better. It is
important that every pound spent delivers the maximum benefit for local residents. I
aim to bring a fresh approach to looking at the many problems we face locally, such as
difficulty in getting access to healthcare services, public transport, badly maintained
roads and footpaths and large housing developments – We deserve better!
A vote for me will mean that decision making is based on the needs of local residents and not party politics.
We need a new, resident-focused approach for the important issues in our communities.
● It is important that housing development is sympathetic to local communities and the necessary provisions are made for local roads, services and facilities.
● Support our small businesses, the bedrock of our future, creating employment and technical training/skills prospects for our young people.
● Support funding for our natural environment and the provision/upgrading of better footpaths and cycle paths.
● Support and promote initiatives to increase recycling and reduce the use of plastics that are harmful to our environment.
It is my belief that the first duty of your local councillors should be to stand up for the people they represent.
This can only be done at ‘local level’ by INDEPENDENT
Councillors dedicated to looking after your interests, uncluttered by big party loyalties.
